We received many sets and our website accomplished his mission :-) promote young talents and share electronic music.

Here are the 5 sets selected for the next step of the REWIND DJ Contest:

La réception des sets pour le DJ Contest approche à sa fin. Les derniers sets seront acceptés jusqu’à ce soir 00h00. Les sets présélectionnés seront postés jusqu’à mercredi. Ce jeudi, les 5 sets sélectionnés seront annoncés sur notre site internet et présentés au Jury (Thecubbing, Nightcode et Rewind) pour n’en laisser que 2. Pour rappel, les 5 préselectionnés se verront offrir chacun 2 places pour la soirée du 25 juin.

Nos futurs invités Butane + Someone Else se chargeront de départager le gagnant. Voici le jury final :-)

Hello,

Little Helpers is a conceptual digital label courtesy of Andrew Rasse (a.k.a. Butane) and Sean O’Neal (a.k.a. Someone Else) launched in December 2009.

Each track is a strong, reduced groove-tool aimed to satisfy the increasing number of digital DJs. Much like the traditional lockgroove vinyl, these tracks are suitable for looping, editing and layering.

Yet at the same time, each track has enough variation to stand on its own. That is, each tune lies somewhere between a full track and a DJ tool — focusing solely on the rhythm or a singular idea rather than extraneous arrangements.
